Reason for Entry: This teacher is not currently my daughter’s teacher; however, my daughter and this teacher are very close, she is always telling me if my daughter has troubles in school she will help her.

My daughter has had a hard time with some of the students in her grade picking on her, which we are working on, but this teacher has been right by mine and my daughters side the whole way and she encourages her to be the best student and person she can be. If we happen to run into her in the store, my daughter goes running to her and gives her a hug and she gives me a hug, and she is just a great teacher and she has helped my child so much, and I have a son in first grade and I have already told her that when my son gets to 3rd grade I want him to have her.

I have been trying to find a way to recognize her since she has been my daughters teacher, and I thought this might be a great way, cause she doesn't just go out of her way for the students she does have but she does it for the ones she doesn't have anymore, and that makes for a great teacher!!!
