This is an oldie but a goodie.  This particular phishing scam has been around for several years and is apparently alive and well.  I have been randomly selected as a winner of  One Million British Pounds (£1,000,000.00)

Convert it to US dollars and it's $1.5 million!!  Not bad, huh?! 

Well, there is the whole "scam" part of it... where none of this is true and some shady characters in a foreign country are trying to get personal info from me to commit identity theft and likely drain my bank account.

But hey, other than that, it seems legit! :)
