When the new baby arrived, a was relocated. I’ve spent some time with Dakin staff and they adore my personality. I'm a little shy at first, but will fairly quickly get to know you and become your pal. I love getting head rubs, and I purr away when you pet me. I like a relaxing places to hang out. While at Dakin, I have found such a spot in one of the offices upstairs. I’ve found that I enjoy being an office assistant. I’m happy to hang out on the desk when you are working on your computer. I believe I’m cut out to be a sit-by-you cat when we watch television.
As I mentioned, the staff has gotten to know me quite well. They believe I would prefer to be the only cat. However, I lived with a dog in my previous home. I see the staff’s dogs playing every day right outside my office. I am not frightened of them. So, with a slow introduction and a cat-savvy dog, I’d likely be fine.
I’ve been at Dakin for several weeks because I tend to hide when people visit me. I will likely do the same at home for a bit of time but once comfortable, you will have a companion who wants to be where you are. I will lick your hand and mew if you leave me in the room alone. I am not a needy cat…but I do enjoy company. I’m now a Lonely Heart so my adoption is half off. Come and visit me!
