Caspian/Havana Rabbit

Caspian is a honey of a bunny! This sweet, social boy is in need of a new home. He is a proud member of the Love Somebunny adoption event at Dakin adoption centers in Leverett and Springfield…today…Valentine’s Day from 12 noon to 7:30 p.m.
All Dakin bunnies receive a veterinary exam and are spayed or neutered before going home.
Caspian is a Havana rabbit. The Havana is a breed of rabbit that first appeared in the Netherlands in the late 1800s. Havanas are recognized by the American Rabbit Breeders Association in five color types: chocolate, blue, black, and broken. Their average weight is between 4.5 pounds and 6.5 pounds.
Bunnies make great indoor pets. They typically get along well with dogs and cats. They need plenty of out of cage time to explore and hop and play. A bunny proof room or exercise pen is a great way to give your bunny the space he needs to exercise. Bunnies can be harness trained and litterbox trained. They bond closely with their humans too. And when it comes to cuteness…bunnies are off the charts….like Caspian.
