I'm a boy who was originally found as a stray and no one claimed me. I then came to Dakin in the hopes of finding a new home which I did. I was bitten by a deer tick and tested positive for Lyme disease which made me very painful. My family was concerned because I hurt when touched and they had little children. They felt it best if I could go into another home…with older children or teens or adults only. My family said that my best quality was my calm demeanor and easy-going manner. I need a home without cats and other animals. I am friendly meeting other dogs. I'd love to find a family where I can get a lot of aerobic exercise. Now back at the adoption center, I am very stressed. If I’m not adopted right away, the Dakin staff will look for me to go into a temporary foster home where I will feel much more comfortable until I am adopted.
